OUR LIVES

In this section you will not only get to hear from our children and parents but it is hoped that by sharing their lives with you, you will walk away with a better understanding of what it means to live with a chronic illness.

Here are their stories:

The Will to Endure
Joshua’s Struggle
Life is like a Box of Chocolates
A Simple Wish
My Life - By Siti Zaimah
A Doctor’s Torment (SMA News - The Singapore Medical Association's magazine)
Bringing up a Heart Child – A Father’s Perspective

One of our signature programmes is Camp Rainbow - an annual three-day adventure camp which is aimed at helping children aged between 5 and 15 develop self-confidence and realise that each person can help others. In 2007, we celebrated the 15th anniversary of the Camp Rainbow. Some of our beneneficiaries who are now in their teens and early 20s reflect on how Camp Rainbow has made a difference in their lives.

Gabriel's story
MIzan's story
Sharil's story
