Throughout the year Club Rainbow organises a range of activities for our beneficiaries.
Some are educational in nature such as study visits for children, special workshops and group learning. Then there’s our annual camp, family excursions to interesting places, talks for parents amongst others.
These events are designed to impart skills, to expose our children to new and stimulating learning environments and to create social opportunities for families to get to know one another and bond as a group facing similar challenges ahead. All this is part of the healing process inherent in raising special children with chronic and life-threatening illnesses.
In designing these events, Club Rainbow takes into account the needs of the children and their families, the ages of the children and the physical and medical limitations they face. We aim to ensure that each year we provide a host of new and challenging events.
Many of these events would not be possible without the help of our dedicated volunteers and sponsors. There are some pointers you should bear in mind If you would like to organise an event for us.
